What is an Instruction Prompt in an AI MCU platform?

An Instruction Prompt in an AI medical check-up (MCU) platform is the institution-approved, version-controlled layer of working instructions that tells the AI how to structure a draft, apply approved terminology, and route exceptions. It is not a source of clinical facts and must not override patient data, approved reference material, or physician judgment. Each draft should remain traceable to the instruction version that shaped it.

Clinical facts come from patient data, examination results, reference ranges, and approved medical knowledge sources. The Instruction Prompt has a different job: it tells the AI how to work with those facts. For example, it can define report sections, required fields, naming conventions, missing-data flags, and the point at which a case must be routed to a doctor. It cannot turn an unsupported statement into a clinical fact.

Governance starts before the prompt is used. An authorized institution team approves the instructions, each material change creates a new version, and the resulting draft can be traced to the version in force at that time. The doctor still reviews, edits, rejects, or approves the clinical content. In Micromeet's AI for governed healthcare approach, the instruction layer controls the drafting workflow; it does not become an autonomous clinical authority. AI writes. Doctors decide.

Related questions

What belongs in an MCU Instruction Prompt?+
It can contain the approved report structure, required fields, terminology, missing-data handling, formatting rules, and escalation conditions. It should not contain invented patient facts or a predetermined clinical conclusion.
Who should approve and update an Instruction Prompt?+
The healthcare institution should assign authorized clinical, quality, and operational owners. They approve the active version, document material changes, and keep the physician responsible for each final clinical conclusion.
How is an Instruction Prompt different from a clinical knowledge source?+
The Instruction Prompt tells the AI how to perform and format the work. A clinical knowledge source supplies the approved facts, references, or rules that support the content; the instruction layer must not replace it.
