Health Data Producer (Produsen Data Kesehatan) under Permenkes 18/2022

Under Minister of Health Regulation (Permenkes) Number 18 of 2022. A Health Data Producer (Produsen Data Kesehatan) is any work unit within the Ministry of Health that produces Health Data. This follows The data list, Priority Health Data, and/or assignments from the Minister (Article 1(7)). Private clinics, hospitals, and laboratories are not Ministry of Health work units and therefore do not fall under this definition.

Position in the Regulation

Article 14 names three organizers of Satu Data Bidang Kesehatan. The Health Data Steward (Walidata Kesehatan, Article 1(8)), Health Data Producers, and the One Health Data Forum. Producers generate data following Satu Data Indonesia principles, submit it with metadata to the Health Data Steward (Article 16(1)), guarantee data availability. In addition, Verify and validate collected data (Article 16(2)–(3)).
